Jonathan’s #pickoftheweek

calender week 47

Hey everyone!

When creating the video about Charlottenburg for you guys, I stumbled upon so many events and locations that I’ve either been to myself already, or I still wanna go, so I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you.

How about you leave me your feedback where you went, or what you can recommend yourself? We could make a weekly thing out of it - something like “Jonathan’s #pickoftheweek” ;)

So, here are my this week’s favourites:

Friday 23.11. Afterwork Sunset Drink @ Monkey Bar rooftop:

Weather forecast predicts a mix of sun and clouds, which should make for an epic sunset on the rooftop of the Monkey Bar. If you wanna sit outside on the terrace though, remember to dress up warmly, because it’ll be cold outside!

Saturday 24.11. Weekend market @ Karl-August-Platz

The cute little weekly market on Karl-August-Platz is perfect for a relaxed stroll, a coffee and a snack until two in the afternoon. Unique craftwork jewellery, cheese and sausage delicacies, flowers, leatherwear, Italian wine and anything else a classy weekly market should offer await you here.

Saturday 24.11. A night of jazz @ A-Trane:

At 9 in the the A-Trane Jazz Club opens its doors for Ingrid Arthur’s tribute to Aretha Franklin. Ingrid Arthur is famous for her unique and booming voice, gaining her the nickname “Goddess of Soul”, so your in for a hell of a performance! Afterwards the club will host one of its infamous late night jazz jam sessions, so stick around.

Sunday 25.11. Photo exhibition @ C/O Berlin:

The C/O Berlin currently features the amazing exhibition “Back To The Future.” It showcases the work of contemporary artists who use 19th century photography techniques to create pieces like photogravures of the moon’s surface, botanical studies as blue cyanotypes, and Woodburytypes of portraits.

Sunday 25.11. Dinner @ Bombay Café Bunty’s:

The Bombay Café Bunty’s just opened a few weeks ago, and I must say: I fell in love with their fusion of delicious Indian cuisine with amazing drinks! Don’t take my word for it - see for yourself!
