CALENDER WEEK 48

Hey guys! After receiving so much great feedback on last week’s events & places to go to in Charlottenburg, I wanted to assemble another list of tips on what to do in the weekend! I’ve had a few of them on my radar for a while now, so maybe you wanna go too? Let me know what you think!

Friday, 30.11.  Food & Drinks @ Schwarzes Café

The “black café” (as is the restaurant’s literal translation) is one of my favourite spots in Charlottenburg to grab an afterwork drink. They’ve got great food too - you should really try their home-made Apfelstrudel ;)

Saturday 31.11. Breakfast @ What Do You Fancy Love?

Right between Kudamm and Savignyplatz is the cute little breakfast café “What Do You Fancy Love?” They have a great selection of fresh juices, mueslis, bagels, and basically anything you could wish for for a good breakfast.

Saturday 1.12. French Film Week @ Cinema Paris

I love the movies - who doesn’t?? I just stumbled upon something that caught my attention: The Cinema Paris currently hosts the 18th French Film Week, along with a few other cinemas in the city. I love the theatre’s beautiful antique cinema hall, and on Saturday they screen a couple of French films that look they might be great, so maybe we meet there?

Saturday 1.12. Oysters & Champagne @ Brasserie le Paris

Look, now that we feel all French already after listening to the sensual sounds of French actors, why not dine French? Right next to the Cinema Paris is the Brasserie le Paris, a place I like to go when I’m looking for fresh oysters to go with the Moët ;) They’ve got a great kitchen and very attentive personnel - they honestly will cater all your needs.

Sunday 2.12. Christmas Market @ Schloss Charlottenburg

It’s the first advent already! Christmas knocks at the door, and what better way to start enjoying this special time with your loved ones than with your first “Glühwein” (mulled wine) in front of the grand scenery of Schloss Charlottenburg, former residence of the German kings and emperors? 250 vendors offer Christmas decorations, foods and nostalgic rides for the kids.
