LOCATION

Dahlem, subdistrict of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, is one of the wealthiest areas of Berlin, renowned for its distinguished villas and its countless parks, lakes and forests. The Berlin Botanical Garden and the Domäne Dahlem are located here, along with various state owned museums and scientific research facilities. A portion of the area is characterised by the single-story housing architecture typical in the USA, as Dahlem used to be part of the American Sector and was home to many high ranking US Army officials during the Cold War.

THE PROJECT
